Wire transfers

You can contact our payments department by phone, email or fax to request payments out directly to the bank account you gave us when you opened your account. Payments are made by Wire transfer free of charge, if you request Canadian or US dollars to a Canadian bank, your bank may charge for receiving Wire transfers.

International Wire transfers can take up to 5 working days and charges by intermediary and receiving banks are likely to be higher.

In accordance with our Anti-Money laundering procedures we will only pay funds out to a bank account account that is held in the same name as the CMC Markets account.

In order to avoid possible delays in processing your requests, please keep in mind the following:

• We will only pay funds out to a bank account that is held in the same name as the CMC Markets account in accordance with our Anti-Money laundering procedures
• If you require funds to be sent to bank account that is not on file, please complete the Bank Change Form and send a copy of a bank statement or void cheque to our Payments Department.
• EFT requests may be made via email, fax, phone or mail.
